Your Private Villa
Moon Hill villa is a unique oasis of seclusion, escape, and serenity located on 2.5 acres at the foot of a rainforest, on the eastern side of the island of Nevis. The property is accessed through a private gate and is situated at the top of a hill.
Guests feel welcomed from the moment they enter the gate, leaving the daily worries and routines behind , and settling into ultimate relaxation. We have created an atmosphere of tranquility, presence, and peace that permeates the spaces in and around the villa. There is an appreciation and connection to living in the heart of nature and it is important for us to use all natural products for cleaning and avoiding hard chemicals wherever possible.

The villa's two bedrooms, are spacious, with a minimalist, Caribbean-style decor creating a bright, and relaxing atmosphere. Each bedroom has Mt. Nevis views , surrounded by lush green landscape.

The two bedrooms can accommodate up to four people. All of the beds include cotton bedding and organic mattresses.

There is one bathroom with a shower and tub from which you will enjoy captivating views of Mt. Nevis.

Open concept living room and dining room with screened in doors and windows , unveiling ocean breeze throughout the space.

Kitchen is fully stocked with spices, herbal teas, gas stove, coffee maker, bodum pour over, espresso, Vitamix, toaster, kettle, and reverse osmosis water system.

Salt water pool with a view of the ocean and spectacular views of Mt. Nevis - a mountain which rises to over 3,000 feet, covered in a lush tropical rainforest.

The one storey villa has a 40' covered veranda with an open terrace perfect for sunbathing, stargazing, hammock swinging, enjoying morning coffee, and listening to the many birds and wildlife. From the balcony enjoy the unobstructed and magnificent ocean view with Antigua, Barbuda (on a clear day), Montserrat, and Guadeloupe at a distance.

Pristine Beaches
A beach for all seasons. Whether you are looking for gentle waves on a beach that you can walk along for an hour or bigger waves for body surfing there is something for every taste, all within a very quick drive from each other and the villa. Every beach feels like your very own slice of unspoiled paradise!
Most days you will have the entire beach to yourself with the occasional sighting of hermit crabs, pelicans and egrets.
Pinney’s Beach: The longest beach on the island is home to the exclusive Four Seasons Resort, beach bars and Sunshine’s Bar for the infamous killer bee rum punch.
Nisbet Beach: This mile-long white sand beach has coconut trees slanting, creating the perfect picture of the quintessential Caribbean beach.
Oualie Beach: The water sports headquarters of Nevis, perfect for families and active travellers. Oualie Beach Resort serves tasty food and drinks.
Lover’s Beach: private and serene. View of St. Kitts.
Windward Beach: An Atlantic beach that is great for body-surfing and long walks.

Lovely Home with Sea and Mountain Views
My friend and I had a lovely stay at this just right-sized villa with sea views from the front and mountain views from the back of the property.
The beds are comfortable and the home has updated furnishings and a large bathroom. There is ample outdoor seating.
Moon Hill is toward the windward side of Nevis, so driving to the more popular beaches is about a 20 minute ride. There is a large supermarket just down the road and plenty of restaurants nearby, however.
Jonathan was full of recommendations of things to do and see. And unlike most other rentals, there are ample seasonings and staples in the kitchen as well as a housekeeper to cook for you!

One of our best vacations ever!
We had a ten-day stay. From arrival to departure, the property, ambience, location and amenities were to die for.
Another special plug for this incredible property is that it came with the services of a cook three days a week. That value alone, was priceless, as it allowed us to settle in and focus on adventure, relaxation and renewal. The property is located on a large piece of land that allowed for near total privacy. It had several spots with beautiful mature trees for writing and meditation. Our one regret was wishing we had brought a hammock.
We had many days of watching the sunrise over the Caribbean sea and the sunset over Mt. Nevis. Nature and its beauty could be viewed and experienced from the two bedrooms, living/ dining room, kitchen, bathtub and incredible pool, veranda and gazebo.
The property manager Jonathan was amazing and generous. He had a zoom call with us prior to our trip and answered all emails promptly. He provided great local suggestions that made for one of our best vacations ever.
The cook Tessy cooked up the storm and nurtured our beings with eye catching, nutritious and fresh meals. It was hard to leave Nevis and this property fondly known as Moon Hill. As the saying on the metal gate says - Carpe Diem (Cease the moment), we are planning to cease the moment and return in 2024.
